At age 10, sitting in front of a small black and white television in Barbados, I saw Hollywood for the first time... The glamour, the wealth, the possibility and asked myself a question that would quietly shape the next six decades of my life:

"Why do we have to be so poor?"

That question didn't breed resentment. It bred resolve.

20 YEARS IN THE US ARMY

I spent the next 20 years in the U.S. Army, operating at the highest levels. Top-secret security clearances, national security missions, and the kind of discipline that doesn't come from a book.

Operating at altitude. No Margin for error.

EARNING MY WINGS

I earned my Private Pilot's License (Airplane Single Engine Land) and logged flight time in military airspace, including one memorable occasion landing at Keesler AFB following an Air Force F-4 Phantom jet fighter.

20 YEARS IN INTERNET TECHNOLOGY

When my military career ended, most people expected me to exhale. I pivoted. My second act was 20 years in Internet Technology.

Building, scaling, and securing enterprise systems long before terms like "blockchain" and "decentralized finance" entered the mainstream conversation. While others were still figuring out what the internet was, I was building the infrastructure behind it.

Network architecture. Security protocols. Mission-critical systems. Team leadership under pressure. Same discipline. Different battlefield.

A Decision That Changed Everything

Then on March 31, 2019, I walked away from my IT career.

Double-retired and just getting started. Currently, I'm building AI Global Legends DAO, so you don't need a TV to see what's possible. I believe alternative finance shouldn't be a secret kept by the wealthy few. My work caught attention beyond the crypto world. In Autumn 2021, I was featured in “It Is Written: Impressions Magazine (Issue 22)” — proof that real discipline eventually gets documented.

Today

Today I operate out of Arizona with a global reach, applying 40 years of hard-won systems.

40 years of service taught me this: Discipline outlasts motivation. Systems beat slogans. And the best leaders don't create followers, they create more leaders.

The boy who saw wealth on a black and white screen in Barbados didn't just chase it. He studied it, served through it, built systems around it. And now teaches others how to access it. Because Discipline outlasts motivation.
